Elizabeth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (psychotherapist), who has been working in the field for nearly 20 years. She works with individuals, both adults and young people aged 14 and older, who are hoping to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences in order to feel their best, and enjoy their lives to the fullest. You may come to psychotherapy already knowing what your behavioral or mental health goals are, or you may be just struggling and confused, wondering if this work can benefit you. Elizabeth believes psychotherapy can be an opportunity for people to change unhealthy patterns of relating to themselves and others, and develop or learn new coping skills that are helpful and effective.
Elizabeth has spent over a decade working the in the community mental health arena, and has training in varied modalities, including psychodynamic work, CBT, DBT, strengths-based psychotherapy, and attachment theory. She also has extensive experience working with people managing stress,
Elizabeth is bilingual in Spanish and English, and provides therapy in both languages. She has a collaborative and warm style, and her clients often tell her they like working with her because she will provide concrete feedback when appropriate, and is an active participant in their work together.
Elizabeth looks forward to hearing more about your needs, and to answering any questions you may have about her practice, and your potential work together.
